England manager Gareth Southgate is considering an England call-up for Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend.
According to The Mirror, he was in attendance as Palace beat Burnley 3-1 away from home, in order to keep tabs on Townsend’s performance.
The report claims that he is weighing up whether or not to include him in his England squad for the upcoming European Championship qualifiers later this month.

Southgate is said to have been impressed by Townsend’s performances for Palace in the Premier League. The winger has four goals and three assists for the Eagles so far this season.
Townsend has been capped 13 times by England, but his last cap for his country came in 2016.
His last international goal came almost four years ago, as he scored against Italy on the 31st March 2015 at the Juventus Stadium.
Townsend’s teammate Aaron Wan-Bissaka is yet to receive his first senior England call-up after impressing in the Premier League this season.
