Crystal Palace’s asking price for Ivorian winger Wilfried Zaha has been considered too much by Premier League clubs.
The 26-year-old has a staggering £75 million transfer price tag set by the South London club, however, the clubs chasing him, including Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Manchester United believe it is too much for the player.
Recently, Zaha expressed his ambitions for his career and is chasing a move that will get him Champions League football.
However, this will be hindered by the large initial transfer figure Palace have demanded, so a cheaper deal must be considered if any team is to make a move.

With nine goals and eight assists this season, the winger has been a standout player for the Eagles’ season and wishes to further his career at a bigger club.
Zaha’s teammates have supported his career ambitions. According to the Daily Star, defensive teammate Scott Dann said:
Every player wants to play at the highest level. He has not said anything untoward.
He is striving to be the best he can be and if that means he has to move on at some stage then that is the way it goes.
There are not many out there who can do what he can do. He has got the qualities to play at the very top. Of course, we would not want to lose him.
However, Palace manager Roy Hodgson has expressed that he thinks Zaha will be playing at Selhurst Park for a few years. He stated:
I’m looking forward to working with him not only in the near future, but I’m looking forward to seeing him in the Crystal Palace shirt for many years to come.

Of course, the Eagles’ will want to keep the talented winger within their squad as he has been a vital player for them this season. However, with accumulating interest and Zaha’s Champions League dream, it will be difficult to keep hold of him.
