Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has revealed he has ‘no idea’ about how much money will be available to him in the summer transfer window, the Evening Standard report.
The 71-year-old, who took over at Selhurst Park in 2017, has once again guided the club to Premier League safety this year, with the Eagles currently occupying 12th spot.
Attentions have now turned to Palace’s summer plans, with standout performer Wilfried Zaha a man in demand across Europe.
Zaha’s possible departure could play a factor in what finances are available to Hodgson in regards to strengthening the squad.
And talking to reporters following the 0-0 draw with Everton on Saturday, Hodgson admitted he has a plan in place ahead of the summer, however, the former England boss has no idea what finances will be made available for him.
We have to be careful about thinking about what you’re going to do in the summer, you can make very wrong decisions if you pay too much attention to that.
We think, as a coaching staff and technical director, we have a pretty good idea about what we’re going to do going forward. Nothing today will affect that.

Hodgson went on to add that he will know more at the end of the season, with Palace set to take on Cardiff City and Bournemouth in the final two fixtures.
