Roy Hodgson will be looking to strengthen his Crystal Palace side this summer, especially in a defensive aspect, after a steady campaign last season.
The Eagles conceded 53 goals this season, two goals more than Europa League finalists Arsenal.
Hodgson will be looking to kick on and improve, and with much speculation around the future of Wilfried Zaha, defence could prove a key factor for them next season.
Palace will also need more depth to their backline, as injuries could prove a problem with a shortage of Premier League quality in the current back line.
Although more depth is needed to the defence, it was a positive season for Palace.
There was the breakthrough of Aaron Wan Bissaka, who is one of the most talked about youngsters in the Premier League, as well as Mamadou Sakho and James Tomkins having solid seasons.
With Sakho and Tomkins 29 and 30 respectively, perhaps Palace need to bring some youth into their defence to look for the future as well as the present.
Here are four defenders that Palace could look to bring to Selhurst Park this summer.
