Real Betis are reportedly close to securing a €25m deal for Crystal Palace target Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to Spanish media, cited by Sports Witness.
The report comes as worrying news to the Eagles who reportedly had a long-standing interest in the Serbian forward.
Mitrovic was one of the few redeeming features of a Fulham side who tried unsuccessfully to buy their way to Premier League survival last season.

The former Newcastle striker was himself one of the many expensive acquisitions made by the West London club upon their promotion back to the top flight, but Mitrovic’s 11 league goals were the only real sign of hope for a team destined for relegation.
Palace themselves encountered issues with an over-reliance on certain players to contribute with goals and assists.
Roy Hodgson’s men only really hit top form after Michy Batshuayi was drafted in on loan to fill the void up top, that had been wilfully vacated by Christian Benteke and Jordan Ayew, who between them scored just two goals last season.
Interest in Mitrovic is by no means short, with both Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham also reportedly interested in prizing the forward away from Craven Cottage, and Palace now face an uphill battle in order to hijack the forward’s signature ahead of Betis.
