Arsenal are reportedly ready to make an offer to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha, and are not put off by the club’s £80million price tag.
The Ivory Coast international, as reported earlier today, has asked to leave the Eagles this summer with Arsenal one of many clubs said to be interested in signing the 26-year old.
And despite Palace’s price tag being just under double Arsenal’s entire budget for the summer, the North London club feel confident that they can land the versatile forward because of Zaha’s history as a boyhood Gunners fan.

Despite Palace having issued a hands-off warning over their star man, especially with Aaron Wan-Bissaka set to join Manchester United, Daily Star Sport claim that Zaha is determined to leave Selhurst Park and has sounded out Unai Emery’s men over a summer transfer.
Zaha was a boyhood Gunners fan, and he would reportedly jump at the opportunity to move to the Emirates Stadium, with Zaha only wanting to join Arsenal this summer.
And Star Sport claim that Arsenal are confident that Palace will lower their valuation because of Zaha’s intense desire to leave.
