Crystal Palace have reportedly had a bid rejected to sign Bolton goalkeeper Remi Matthews.
According to Football Insider, Palace have failed in their attempts to sign the League One shot-stopper.
Matthews’ future at Bolton is up in the air given the financial insecurity that surrounds the club at the moment.

It is claimed that Roy Hodgson wants to add to his squad to provide competition for Wayne Hennessey and Vicente Guaita following the departure of Julian Speroni.
The report adds that despite having an opening offer rejected, Palace will return with an improved bid in an effort to seal a deal for the former Norwich man.
It is unclear at this stage how Matthews would feel about a move to the Premier League outfit given that regular first-team football is unlikely to be on offer.
