Crystal Palace have been dealt a massive blow in their pursuit of Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne this summer.
According to The Telegraph, Clyne has suffered an ACL injury, ruling him out of action for up to six months.
Clyne has been heavily linked with a move to Palace in recent weeks, with the club said to have been in talks with Liverpool over a potential deal for the right-back.

Sky Sports claim that Clyne has now flown back to England after suffering the injury whilst on tour with Liverpool in America.

Palace are looking to sign a right-back this summer to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka, following his £50m move to Manchester United.
The club may now have to look elsewhere in the transfer market to strengthen their squad, or hold off until January to make a move for Clyne.
