Some Crystal Palace fans are letting rip on the club following the release of ticket prices to attend the Carabao Cup second round fixture against Colchester United at the end of the month.
Palace are charging £15 for adults and £20 on the day, £10 for senior concessions, £5 for 12-17-year-olds, with under 12s going free if purchased in advance with an adult/concession ticket.
Plenty have been piling onto Twitter to announce their discontent with the decision though, with fears of a shoddy atmosphere growing:

It’s understandable that Colchester on what’s likely to be a cold night in East London doesn’t carry much of a draw factor as some of the Premier League games at Selhurst Park.
And while I obviously don’t know and can’t presume other people’s financial limits, it seems like the criticism the club is received is a bit harsh.
The cheapest seat you can buy for Category B league games costs £40, so the £25 deduction to watch some cup football surely isn’t something to be negative about.
It’s likely the attendance won’t even hit 10,000 on August 27, even including the faithful Colchester will bring, which is a great shame considering how well fans want the team to do in the cups.
