Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Jeffrey Schlupp is back from an ankle injury, ahead of Crystal Palace’s trip to Sheffield United this weekend.
The Blades entertain the Eagles on Sunday afternoon, as both teams look for their opening Premier League win of the season.
While centre-back duo James Tomkins and Mamadou Sakho are still absent, Schlupp is available for selection .
Supporters have been reacting to the news of the Ghanaian’s return on Twitter.

Read Crystal Palace Verdict
Although not necessarily Palace’s most important player, Schlupp’s versatility makes him a key man to have fit again.
The 26-year-old is capable of thriving at both left-back and further forward, with his pace and power giving opposition teams food for thought.
It is highly unlikely that Schlupp will start against the newly-promoted Blades this weekend, but having him available is an undoubted boost.
It may even be that the match comes too soon for him to make the squad, but Hodgson has made it clear that he is in his plans again.
