Crystal Palace have announced there are still tickets available for Saturday’s trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United, and plenty of supporters are making their lack of surprise known.
The Eagles have endured a slow start to the season, playing out an opening day 0-0 draw with Everton before the disappointing 1-0 defeat against Sheffield United at the weekend.
With a daunting test against Man United coming up next and a usually-full away end not yet sold out, fans are being very clear about their frustrations on social media:

I’ll be honest, I’m surprised that the allocation is yet to be filled. Even teams enduring a worse time than Palace fill out the away end at Old Trafford, so why it’s not sold out is baffling.
Supporters have the right to be unhappy with the club’s summer business, but we’re only two games in and it’s strange that people would miss out on a visit to one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues.
You could also argue, however, after such an impressive following for the game in Sheffield that after such a dismal performance and result, too many don’t have the financial capability for another journey up north just a week later.
Hopefully, the Eagles’ support will still be as loud as ever in Manchester because the players need as much as they can get at the moment.
