Crystal Palace travel to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon to take on Manchester United in the Eagles’ second away game of the Premier League season.
Roy Hodgson’s side were disappointing on the road last weekend, losing 1-0 to newly-promoted Sheffield United at Bramhall Lane. After the game, Hodgson indicated that Palace could have a slow start to the season if they struggle to find a plan B to breakdown their opposition.
The transfer saga of Wilfried Zaha is bound to have an impact on the early stages of the season, too, considering the forward very nearly left Palace in the summer. However, Hodgson will be hoping that a trip to Old Trafford will provide his side with much-needed inspiration to kickstart their season.
Without a win in their opening two league fixtures, Palace will be desperate to find some positives on Saturday when they face Manchester United.
Ahead of the trip north, we look ahead to the line-up that Roy Hodgson may pick for Saturday’s game.
