Former Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan Bissaka has earned his first England call-up after being picked for Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad.
Wan-Bissaka, who is also eligible for the Democratic Republic of Congo, was not called up for the squad whilst playing for Palace but has earned his first call playing for United.

Several Palace fans reacted to the call up on social media, with many not surprised that Southgate has called him up just after he left the Eagles.

It was always going to happen, wasn’t it?
England squads have always prioritised the big teams, and seeing Wan Bissaka called up after joining Manchester United is no surprise.
If he would have stayed at Palace, he might’ve been selected, but it’s not shocking to see him called up after only three games for Manchester United.
