Christian Benteke will be in for a reunion against his former team in Aston Villa this weekend, and Palace need their misfiring striker to net against his former side.
Benteke has struggled for consistency since joining the Eagles from Liverpool in 2016.
Despite a great opening campaign in a Palace shirt, Benteke has only scored four goals since 2017 for the Eagles and has failed to score any goals so far this season.

His struggles in front of goal were very much apparent against Colchester, where the Belgian went close but was still unable to score against the League Two side.
Jordan Ayew has also struggled to be a consistent scorer for Palace since signing, despite his goal against Manchester United last week.
Therefore, Palace are desperate for a goalscorer who can net on a regular basis, and Benteke could be that man.
Despite his well-known struggles, Aston Villa presents a great opportunity for Benteke to net his first goal of the season.

Villa have conceded five goals in three games and despite holding Everton to a clean sheet, they have looked shaky in defence.
Despite Tyrone Mings and Bjorn Engels playing very well to start the season, only poor Everton play kept the scores at 1-0 in their last game, with the chemistry in the Villa backline still not looking that convincing.
Benteke could look to exploit this, and Villa could be the team he can open his account against.
