Crystal Palace claimed their second win of the season after beating 10-man Aston Villa at Selhurst Park, and they may have been lucky to claim all three points.
Palace were handed a numerical advantage shortly before the hour mark, when Villa summer signing Trezeguet was given a second yellow for tripping Wilfried Zaha.
Former Aston Villa striker and current Palace front-man Jordan Ayew scored his second goal of the season with 20 minutes remaining, following a defensive mix-up that allowed the Ghanian to jink through and fire past Tom Heaton.

In the final minutes, Henri Lansbury scored an angled shot past Vicente Guaita after being sent through by Jack Grealish, although referee Kevin Friend blew the whistle before the ball found the back of the net, incorrectly adjudging that Grealish had gone down easily.
The Eagles may have been lucky to come away with a win, but Roy Hodgson won’t be too concerned with the manner of the victory.
Taking to Twitter, several Crystal Palace fans responded to the club’s victory.
