Former Crystal Palace midfielder Shaun Derry has returned to the club, becoming professional development coach with the Palace youth setup.
Derry enjoyed two spells at Palace in the mid 2000’s, making over 220 appearances for the team.

The backroom staff at a club can always use more experience from ex-players, but another ex-Palace man seems to show they have a preference to just hire former Palace players.
The Eagles favourite has received a lot of support since joining however and has managerial experience in the football league.
He may not be around at Palace for long.
