Luka Milivojevic has admitted that he had some “uncertainty” about his contract at Palace before he signed a new deal with the club.
The Serbian, who has become a quick fan favourite since joining the club, signed a new deal with Palace last month, keeping him at Selhurst Park until 2023.

However, speaking about his situation at the club, the midfielder revealed that he could have left Palace, after deciding to stay at the club due to no “top offers” coming in for him.
Speaking to Serbian media, the midfielder said, via HLTCO:
It was a little inconvenient because I was entering the last year of the contract.
In football, it is a little inconvenient when you enter the last year, all sorts of things happen. I know, I didn’t get the top offer and I extended the contract.

Milivojevic has become a key asset to Palace, especially in set piece situations.
There were rumours that the midfielder could move away if a top offer came in, with some big European sides linked with a move.

However, as the midfielder says, none of these surfaced in the end, keeping the midfielder at Palace for the foreseeable future.
He may not have gotten off the mark so far this season, but he is still a key man for the Eagles and should be vital going forward.
