Crystal Palace battled hard but were denied a win by 10-man Wolves, who scored a last-minute equaliser to finish the game 1-1.

The Eagles took the lead right at the start of the second half through an own goal from Leander Dendoncker. Then they had a man’s advantage when Romain Saiss was sent off 17 minutes from time.

But Diogo Jota popped up with a 95th minute equaliser to break the hearts of Palace supporters at Selhurst Park.

On balance of play, Wolves probably deserved something from this game as they were very good in the first half.

They were unlucky to trail very early into the second half when a Joel Ward shot clearly deflected off Dendoncker to go into the back of the net.

Saiss made a needless challenge on Wilfried Zaha to get his marching orders in the 73rd minute. But, Jota equalised in the 95th minute after Palace failed to clear their lines.
