Crystal Palace’s Luka Milivojevic has revealed that Crystal Palace are aiming to better their points tally from last season, despite the late draw with Wolves on the weekend.
The Eagles looked to have three points wrapped up before a late Diogo Jota goal levelled it up at the death.
Milivojevic has agreed with his manager that the result was a blow for the Eagles.
The Serbian said, via Football London:
Ok, he [Hodgson] was [disappointed], but we were very disappointed as well, because we think we deserved to get three points.
We have to be honest and say that first half they [Wolves] were better than us and created some good chances, but second half we were concentrated and we controlled the game.
I can say I am disappointed because it was a very easy game to deal with the situation on the pitch, as we had an extra man, we kept everything under control but just in the last second we gave them a chance to put a ball into the box and they punished us from our mistake.
But that is the Premier League, if you don’t convert your chances then you can be punished and that has happened to us.
The Serbian also said that Palace are still aiming for a good finish this season.
Every single game is hard and different. It is not like in other leagues where you can already take three points before the game but in Premier League that is impossible.
At the moment, let’s say that we are okay, I can say we are happy with the points but when you see we could easily take 10 points at the moment, which was our aim, but we are where we are and we continue.

The Serbian midfielder has a point that Palace should be happy with the points tally they have so far.
But they should be disappointed with the draw against Wolves.
Palace need all the points they can get in the Premier League, especially at home, so they cannot afford to switch off and concede easy goals again.
Therefore, this weekend’s game with Norwich will be massive.
