Crystal Palace take on Norwich City this weekend, with the Eagles looking to bounce back from the disappointment of the draw with Wolves.
Palace have been strong at home, and are yet to suffer defeat at Selhurst Park, whilst Norwich have struggled to pick up points on the road.
The Canaries suffered defeat to Burnley last time out, but will be still be motivated after their famous win over Manchester City two weeks ago.
To get a better understanding of the Canaries, I spoke to Daniel Emery of Read Norwich, and asked him several questions about the Canaries.
Norwich have had some results so far this season, but have struggled on the road, why might that be?
It’s tough to pinpoint, as we could easily have picked up a result against Burnley had Pukki scored his early chance or Leitner’s strike had gone in off the post. However, the lack of pace on the counter-attack does appear to be an issue, with Onel Hernandez currently out injured for Norwich – their main source for ball carrying on the counter last season.
Teemu Pukki has been the key star for the Canaries so far this season, but what other players could cause Palace problems on Saturday?
Emi Buendia and Todd Cantwell. They already have two goals and six assists between them in the Premier League and are thriving behind Pukki in Norwich’s 4-2-3-1 formation, whilst Marco Stiepermann is still getting to grips with the division. Palace will need to keep an eye on Buendia in particular, as he is Norwich’s main creative outlet.

Which Palace star do you think could be the biggest threat against Norwich
A fairly obvious one, but Wilfried Zaha. He’s clearly been Palace’s biggest source for goals in recent seasons and is always a livewire on and off the ball. If he’s at his best, Norwich will struggle to deal with him, for sure.

Daniel Farke has picked up a lot of praise for his football recently, is it really all it’s been made out to be?
Yes. All you have to do is watch the extended highlights of our win over Manchester City if you want to see the kind of football Norwich are capable of playing. It’s the most enjoyable in my time supporting the club and has translated fairly well from the Championship to the Premier League.

How do you think things will turn out on Saturday?
It’s hard to say, given there are still some question marks over the fitness of some of Norwich’s players. If Krul or Fahrmann are fit to start, I could see Norwich picking up a result at Selhurst.
