Crystal Palace fans have criticised Roy Hodgson’s game plan in the Eagles’ defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.
The Eagles went down 2-0 to Manchester City on Saturday evening, and many Palace fans were quick to take to Twitter to criticise Hodgson’s decision not to sub on Christian Benteke sooner.

Benteke came on in the 76th minute, and some Palace fans thought that was way too late to make an impact.

Benteke may have had his troubles in front of goal, but not putting him on here seems odd.
He could’ve made an impact if he came on sooner and Hodgson surely should have at least entertained the idea.
It could have made a big impact in the result of the game.
