Tottenham winger Jack Clarke looks destined to cut his Leeds United loan stint short in the new year, according to The Atheltic’s Phil Hay.
The teenager, who was wanted by the Eagles over the summer, completed a permanent move to Spurs before heading back to the Whites on a season-long loan.

However, Clarke’s return to Elland Road hasn’t worked, with the 18-year-old failing to feature in a single Championship encounter this season.
Clarke will more than likely be heading back to north London in the new year and Spurs officials could then look to loan the winger out once again for the second half of the campaign.

Roy Hodgson is seemingly a huge admirer of Clarke, so a new year swoop could be on the cards.
His impressive displays last season in the second tier earnt him his move to Spurs, and if he could replicate those performances at Selhurst Park, he’d prove to be a shrewd acquisition.
Yes, it would be a risk, but we feel it’s one that Palace should take.
The Eagles are short on wide options at this moment in time, and with Wilfried Zaha’s future still up in the air, reinforcements on the wing could be desperately needed.
Clarke’s direct approach, pace and trickery could see him become a solid signing, and who knows, a loan could then turn into a permanent move further down the line.
