West Ham have been handed a boost ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace on Boxing Day this week.
According to The Guardian, the Hammers will have their number one back between the sticks, with Lukasz Fabianski poised to make his comeback from injury.
The report claims that Fabianski is in line to start after returning from a hip injury which has kept him out of the side since the end of September.

This is a blow for Palace, as it means that one of West Ham’s best players can play and make a difference for them on the pitch. David Martin has been a reliable pair of hands in his absence, but Fabianski has been superb over the last 18 month for Pellegrini’s side. He is an excellent shot-stopper and is someone who can prevent Palace from scoring just on his own.
Palace will be hoping that West Ham decide not to risk him for this one and let him fully recover, starting Martin instead. Roy Hodgson’s side have enjoyed a successful season so far and will be looking to carry it into 2020.
