Crystal Palace are interested in a move to sign former Tottenham player Nabil Bentaleb this month.
According to Sky Sports’ sources in Germany, Palace are keen to bring the player back to England.
However, it’s added that no official approach has occurred yet. The report states that Bentaleb has been out of the first-team picture in Germany following his ‘unprofessional behaviour’.
The player has now been placed on the transfer list and is hoping to secure a move back to England.

Bentaleb was highly rated coming through the ranks at Spurs, with former managers Tim Sherwood and Andre Villas-Boas both hailing his potential, via the Daily Mail.
After falling out of favour at Tottenham he impressed during a loan spell in Germany, scoring seven times and registering five assists for Schalke – form that was good enough to convince the Bundesliga side to sign him permanently.
He has been unable to kick on since then and the unprofessional behaviour should be a cause of concern for Palace if they are serious about a move for the 25-year-old.
Comfortable in attacking or in more deeper midfield positions, Bentaleb would offer a lot of versatility to Hodgson’s squad, but with no first-team minutes under his belt this season, he’s a player that would require sufficient time to get up to speed with the Premier League so the Eagles should approach this deal with caution.
