Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to sign West Bromwich Albion defender Nathan Ferguson in the summer, according to a report on Football Insider.
The 19-year-old was on the verge of joining Crystal Palace, but the deal collapsed on deadline day after a problem during the player’s medical.
Ferguson had a knee issue which meant he could be kept out of action until the end of the season, which resulted in Palace failing to authorise the move.
Now, as stated in the report, Spurs are plotting a £4m swoop for the full-back in the summer transfer window.

Ferguson has been a key player for West Brom this season after being converted into a full-back by manager Slaven Bilic and has played 21 times in the Championship this term.
The youngster’s versatility is one of his biggest assets as he can also operate as a centre-back.
We believe that Tottenham joining the race to sign him is a big blow for Palace because he could be enticed by the chance of playing European football with the north London club next season.
After losing Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United last summer, the Eagles have failed to sign an adequate replacement and we feel Ferguson could be that man – but Spurs could spoil that plan.
