French giants AS Monaco have made a €15m approach to Trabzonspor regarding Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth, according to a report on Fotospor.
The Turkish club has the option to sign Sorloth for only €6m next season after he joined on a two-year loan deal last summer.
However, after reportedly scouting the Norway international, Monaco are ready to sign him for €15m.
However, as stated in the report by the Turkish news outlet, Trabzonspor are planning to take up the option to sign him permanently and then add a €48m release clause in his contract.

Sorloth is in incredible goalscoring form this season, finding the back of the net 21 times in all competitions, so we feel it’s no surprise that Monaco have made their approach for him.
The 24-year-old failed to get his name on the scoresheet even once in the Premier League with Palace and after showing such great form on loan, we believe that the Eagles may have made a big error by including a lowly €6m clause in the contract.
The striker could be worth a lot more by the end of next season if he keeps up his form and it seems that Trabzonspor are ready to make the most of the opportunity.
Palace are really struggling for goals in the league this season and Sorloth himself has scored only one less than their total tally in the top-flight.
