Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson’s current contract at the club expires at the end of June (Transfermarkt).
The Englishman has reportedly been left frustrated with the lack of financial backing from the board and owners during recent transfer windows – especially last month.
Hodgson has a new one-year deal offer from the club waiting but he wants assurances regarding spending money on new players before he signs the deal, according to a report on the Express.
Hodgson is also the oldest manager in the top-flight at the moment at 72-years-old and it might just be time to call his football managerial career to an end.
If Hodgson does end up leaving, Palace will need to make a decision on who could succeed him at Selhurst Park.
Below, we’ve taken a look at five managers that could be in line to become the next Palace manager if Hodgson decides to leave at the end of the season.
