Milivojevic one yellow card away from two-match ban

Crystal Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic has received nine yellow cards so far in the Premier League this season, as seen on the Premier League’s official website.

That means the midfielder is only one caution away from receiving a two-match suspension.

As stated on Goal, if a player has received ten yellow cards by gameweek 32, they will be handed a two-match ban, meaning Milivojevic is in danger of missing two games.

It’s currently gameweek 26, meaning the Serbian international needs to be careful for a number of weeks in order to avoid a ban.

Milivojevic is no stranger to a yellow card, shown by the fact that he accumulated 10 throughout the 2018/19 season and eight in the season before.

We believe that his high record of yellow cards is because of his dogged play in midfield, always battling for the ball. This is shown by the fact that he has won 564 duels and lost 562 duels, proving that he is constantly fighting for possession and obviously, sometimes this can go slightly wrong.

Palace have some crucial matches against fellow strugglers coming up so we believe that it is imperative that Milivojevic doesn’t get booked, or else Palace may need to play without their captain in matches that could define their season.
