Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has commented on Jeffrey Schlupp’s latest Instagram post.
The Crystal Palace midfielder posted a picture of him training during the club’s winter break in Dubai.
Schlupp and Batshuayi played together during the Belgian’s loan spell with the Eagles for the second half of last season.
The striker replied to the post with one word, ‘power’, followed by fire and flexed bicep emojis.

Schlupp is on his way back from a hip injury that he suffered against Watford in early December.
As seen in the photo, the winger appears to be close to making his return to the team after missing a big chunk of the season with the issue.
Prior to the setback, Schlupp scored two goals and registered two assists in 14 top-flight appearances (Transfermarkt) and the team has only won one match during his absence from the squad, which shows how crucial he is to the team.
