Brighton and Hove Albion striker Neal Maupay has told Crystal Palace that they’re heading into this weekend’s clash with a winning mentality.
The Frenchman found the back of the net at Selhurst Park earlier this season during the 1-1 draw.
As quoted on The Eastbourne Herald, Maupay said:
I scored in front of them and was really pleased because I know that it’s a big game for our fans and we want to make them proud and happy.
It would be massive to win the game on Saturday.
We’ll look at the Sheffield United match to see what we did well and where we can improve, we’ll work hard this week and be ready on Saturday to get a win.

Maupay has settled into the Premier League very well, netting eight times in the top-flight in his first season in the division (Transfermarkt).
After his clinical finish in the first encounter, it’s clear to see that he is the obvious danger to Palace and we believe that Roy Hodgson’s side may need to nullify him if they want to get a positive result at the Amex Stadium.
Maupay netted last weekend during the draw with Sheffield United and that was his first since his strike in south London in December.
The summer-signing only had 37 touches of the ball during the first match against Palace this season (WhoScored) but was clinical when it mattered which proves that Gary Cahill and co will need to keep a close eye on him, even if it seems like he is isolated.
