A number of Crystal Palace fans have reacted to captain Gary Cahill’s tweet after their recent win over Watford.
Cahill posted a tweet after the game hailing the three clean sheets in-a-row Palace have managed in the Premier League and thanked the fans for their excellent support.
Palace beat Watford 1-0, with Jordan Ayew scoring the only goal of the game. This was Palace’s third 1-0 win in-a-row, after also beating Newcastle and Brighton 1-0 in the two games before facing Watford.
Cahill produced a superb performance at centre-back, as he recorded a WhoScored rating of 7.78. He won an astonishing nine aerial battles, along with making seven clearances and two blocks to keep Watford at bay throughout the match.
The towering centre-back was able to consistently thwart Watford’s attempts to get something out of the game and these Palace fans took to Twitter to praise him for his performance.
