A number of Crystal Palace fans have reacted to Jordan Ayew being named the official club Man of the Match against Watford over the weekend.
Some Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react to him being handed the award, after his goal sealed the three points for Palace against the Hornets.
Ayew scored the only goal of the game as Palace won 1-0 against Watford on Saturday, their third 1-0 win in succession in the Premier League.
The forward has now scored eight goals in the league for Palace this season. He is the club’s top goalscorer in all competitions and was impressive in the win over Watford, leading to his award.
He picked the ball up on the edge of the box under pressure before spinning and firing an excellent strike into the top corner. Ben Foster had no chance as Ayew’s effort zipped past him at pace.
