Crystal Palace are reportedly set to be on the lookout for a striker to add to their squad in the summer transfer window.
According to The Athletic, one of the positions Palace want to strengthen this summer is their attackers, in order to add more goals to their squad in the 2020/21 campaign.
Jordan Ayew is Palace’s top scorer and first-choice striker at present. He has scored eight goals in the Premier League, whilst Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham have both scored just one goal each.
This suggests that Palace could be making the right call in looking to bolster their squad, whether that be signing someone to simply compete with Ayew or to replace him and have the forward as a back-up to any new signing.
