The Athletic journalist Matt Woosnam has claimed that Palace midfielder Max Meyer will have clubs interested in him this summer.
Woosnam says that he is sure to have suitors in the upcoming transfer window, despite his recent lack of game time at Selhurst Park in the Premier League for Palace.
Speaking in his Q&A, Woosnam said:
Max Meyer will most likely be allowed to leave. Despite his relative lack of games, he is sure to have suitors. It just hasn’t worked out in this system for the German, but Palace seem to have found a balance in that midfield recently.

If there are clubs interested in Meyer, as he suggests, then Palace are right to allow him to leave. They should cash in on him whilst they still can, in order to make some profit on the German they signed on a free transfer back in 2018 from Schalke.
Meyer has struggled to perform in England and has recorded a dreadful average WhoScored rating of 6.21 for his performances this term. The German has played 13 games in the league, starting six of them, but failed to contribute a single goal or assist, whilst completing just one key pass in that time.
He is also offering very little defensively, with only 1.7 combined tackles, interceptions and clearances per game. This means that he is not producing offensively or defensively for Palace and the club could be best off letting him leave and replacing him with a player who could offer them more in midfield.
