Crystal Palace need to move quickly in their pursuit of Fyodor Chalov amid potential interest from Premier League giants Chelsea.
According to the Daily Star, Chelsea have made enquiries regarding the forward’s availability this year and could challenge Palace for his signature this summer.
This comes after the news that Palace are set to make a move for Russian, who is also catching the eye of those in charge at West Ham and Brighton.

If Palace want to secure a deal for Chalov they could need to move swiftly in order to do so. If Chelsea enter the race before Palace are able to strike an agreement, it could be harder for them to tempt him to Selhurst Park this summer.
Chelsea are currently in the top four and are set for Champions League football again next season. This means that they could offer Chalov European football and a potential title push, along with higher wages.
It could be very difficult for Palace to compete with that unless they could somehow convince him that he might get more game time than at Chelsea, with Tammy Abraham very much Frank Lampard’s first-choice striker when fully fit.
