Crystal Palace have been linked with a swoop to sign CSKA Moscow forward Fedor Chalov this summer.
According to the printed edition of The Mirror, as transcribed by HITC, Palace are poised to make a move for the striker as they aim to bolster their squad during the upcoming transfer window.
The report claims that fellow Premier League sides Brighton and West Ham are also interested in the Russian. This means that Palace could face some strong competition for his signature if they all firm up their interest with a concrete offer in the coming months.
Chalov has scored 23 goals for Moscow since the start of last season and that could be why Premier League clubs are starting to take notice of him. But, would he be a good addition to Palace’s squad next term?
Here are four reasons why Chalov could be a shrewd signing for Roy Hodgson.
