Leeds United have joined the race to sign Crystal Palace midfielder James McCarthy this summer, according to an exclusive report from 90min.
Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Ham United have also shown an interest in the Irishman and it looks like he could be for sale at the right price.
The Eagles paid £8m for McCarthy and they’ll be looking for bids of a similar amount before they consider letting the 29-year-old leave.

If Roy Hodgson is looking to bring the average of his squad down, then cashing in on McCarthy could be a wise move, especially if Palace can get back the £8m they originally paid Everton for the midfielder and use that money to invest in a younger player.
With so many Premier League clubs interested, the Eagles should be willing to hold out for their asking price as selling McCarthy on the cheap to a rival team would make very little sense.
