Crystal Palace have had several long-serving players during their Premier League history, but only a handful have accumulated more than 200 appearances in the competition for the Eagles. Joel Ward is at the top, followed by Wilfried Zaha, James McArthur, Jeffrey Schlupp and Tyrick Mitchell.
1. Joel Ward – 306 appearances
Joel Ward is Crystal Palace’s leading Premier League appearance maker with 306 appearances. The right-back joined Palace from Portsmouth in 2012 and went on to spend more than a decade representing the club in the top flight. The Premier League’s official Crystal Palace statistics list Ward first with 306 appearances.
Ward’s longevity is particularly notable because he became one of the constants in Palace’s modern Premier League era.
2. Wilfried Zaha – 291 appearances
Wilfried Zaha sits second with 291 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace. The academy graduate made his first-team debut as a teenager and eventually became one of the most important players in the club’s modern history. The Premier League’s official records list Zaha with 291 appearances and 68 goals for Palace, while the club has documented his extraordinary overall contribution across 458 competitive appearances.
Zaha’s Premier League career at Palace included two separate periods, with his departure for Galatasaray in 2023 ending a remarkable association with the club. The Premier League also recognised him as Palace’s record scorer in the competition, with 68 goals.
3. James McArthur – 240 appearances
James McArthur ranks third with 240 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace. The Scottish midfielder joined the Eagles from Wigan Athletic in 2014 and subsequently became one of the club’s longest-serving players of the Premier League era. McArthur is listed as third with 240 appearances.
McArthur’s Palace career lasted until 2023 and included 17 Premier League goals. His durability in midfield helped him accumulate appearances across multiple Palace managerial appointments.
4. Jeffrey Schlupp – 220 appearances
Jeffrey Schlupp is fourth on Palace’s Premier League appearance list with 220 matches. The Ghana international joined Crystal Palace from Leicester City in January 2017 and quickly became a versatile member of the squad, capable of operating in defence and midfield as well as in more advanced positions.
Schlupp’s longevity is reflected in the fact that he remained a Palace player for several seasons after reaching the 200-appearance mark. He is also credited with 18 Premier League goals in those 220 appearances.
5. Tyrick Mitchell – 212 appearances
Tyrick Mitchell completes the top five with 212 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace as of the latest available record in September 2026. The academy graduate made his senior debut in July 2020 and quickly established himself as Palace’s regular left-back.
Mitchell’s rise has been particularly notable because all of his Premier League appearances for Palace have come since his first-team breakthrough in 2020. The Palace academy product has therefore reached the top five much faster than several players ahead of him on the club’s historical list.
