As we all eagerly await the 2015/16 new season, pre-season friendlies can keep us sane and give us the football fix that we need… so what’s in store for Pardew’s boys this summer?
Crystal Palace have already announced friendlies against south London rivals Fulham and Sky Bet League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge – ‘former club of Dwight Gayle’ for August. Then this morning, Phil Alexander is in Cape Town confirming a South African tour will take place, which will see the Eagles take part in the Cape Town Cup between 24-26th July.
Palace will play against South African sides Ajax Cape Town, Supersport United and Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
Last year Tony Pulis took the boys to USA for a 9 day stateside stay where they were unbeaten against the likes of Richmond Kickers, Columbus Crew and Philadelphia Union with 2 wins and a draw.
