Premier League rivals interested in Palace international midfielder

Newly-promoted Premier League side AFC Bournemouth are interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Adlene Guedioura, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Algerian has not featured under Alan Pardew at all this season, and is more than likely to depart Selhurst Park this summer.

Guedioura has bags of experience in English football, having played for Nottingham Forest, Watford and Wolves in addition to his current spell at the Eagles.

The 29-year-old signed for Palace on deadline day in September 2013, but has failed to break into the first team. He has started just four Premier League games, amongst various substitute appearances for the club.

However, earlier in the calendar year the central midfielder impressed whilst on loan at Watford, where he scored three goals and assisted four times, helping the club achieve promotion to the top tier.

Eddie Howe will be looking to strengthen his squad, following the club’s opening day loss at home to Aston Villa, in an attempt to avoid the drop.
