Q&A: West Ham supporters frightened by Palace winger

Ahead of Saturday’s clash at Selhurst Park against Slaven Bilic’s West Ham, we took the time to speak to our sister site, Read West Ham, and fire their co-editor, Dean Ammi, some questions.

We spoke about the start of the season, dangers, hopes, managers and much more. Just take a look!

1) What have you thought of West Ham’s start to the season?

A) It’s been a bit of a mixed bag to say the least. Struggling to beat the lesser teams in the league yet we have shown that we are more than capable of beating a top level side. At the end of the day though I can’t argue with sitting in the top seven.

2) How’s the international break left the Hammers’ squad? Any problems?

A) There aren’t any major issues, no. Diafra Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyate have only just got back from Africa though, so fatigue could come into play at some point.

3) How do you feel Bilic has started to life in the Premier League?

A) I touched on this earlier on, it would appear that he struggles to motivate the squad for games against easier opposition. He’s been a breath of fresh air nonetheless.

4) Just how good is Dimitri Payet?!

A) He’s a world class footballer. Only David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne are better than him in his position in my opinion.

5) Anyone in the Palace side that West Ham fans are frightened of?

A) Wilfried Zaha looks a dangerman. He was playing like Maradona against West Bromwich Albion, and we’re worried it might happen again.

6) Score predictions?

A) 1-1 draw I think.

matchday.
