Speaking to Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday, Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann has told of how the Palace camp felt when striker Glenn Murray left to join fellow Premier League side AFC Bournemouth.
In the summer transfer window, the former Brighton & Hove Albion striker made the switch from Selhurst Park to Dean Court, bringing an end to his four year stay in South East London, where he was a favourite among the fans.
During his time at the Eagles, Murray found the net 47 times in 125 appearances, and former Blackburn defender Dann has told of the disappointment within the players at Palace following his departure.

The lads were disappointed that he had left, because we know what he offers the team. He’ll do really well for Bournemouth.
He hasn’t got the pace of some strikers in the league, but his knowhow makes him a good person to have on your side.
There have been certain suggestions that, if Murray had stayed at Selhurst Park, he wouldn’t have found game time hard to come by following Conor Wickham’s injury, plus Pardew doesn’t pick Bamford and the lack of real form from Dwight Gayle.
Murray has been in fine form for the Cherries since making the switch, netting twice in his first five appearances for the Premier League new-boys.
