Crystal Palace manager is adamant that the rumours linking Patrick Bamford with a move back to Chelsea in January are untrue, and the English striker is in the plans of the former Newcastle United boss.
Reports were starting to surface suggesting that the current Premier League champions were unhappy with the minutes Bamford is getting at Selhurst Park and were going to recall their player in the upcoming January transfer window.
However, according to the Surrey Mirror, Pardew believes that the striker will complete his loan deal in South London, and won’t make an early return.

Bamford has been behind the duo of Dwight Gayle and Conor Wickham in the pecking order, with Pardew openly stating why he left Bamford out of one particular game.
I have not seen or heard from anyone at Chelsea, so it looks like one of those stories. It’s an obvious one; he’s not playing at the moment and somebody has spun it and everybody has caught on to it.
That’s unfortunate for Patrick because he’s working hard but he is an obvious situation. If he doesn’t play between now and January, we’ll have to look at it, for sure. He’s had a lot of competition and he’s trying to understand the way we play. But if he gets a chance I’m sure he’ll want to take it. He’s fighting for his right to get in the team, put it that way.
