Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has admitted that his side are struggling without having Connor Wickham, who is currently sidelined, according to the Evening Standard.
In the last six Premier League games, the Eagles have only managed to net four times following a 1-0 loss at Leicester City on Saturday, Jamie Vardy netted the winner.
Wickham signed for the South London side in the summer from Sunderland but has been out for just over two months with an injury. However, the forward is edging closer and closer to an anticipated return.
We are missing some big offensive players and that is beginning to hinder us. We really need to push now. That is a little bit of a concern for us.

Despite missing two chances in their recent loss, former Newcastle United boss Pardew has back Patrick Bamford who is on loan from current champions Chelsea. The English striker’s appearance at the King Power was the third from the substitutes bench this season.
It was important for him to come on and make his presence felt. There were a couple of moments from him and hopefully he can build on that.
Pardew’s side will now travel to the Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City, for their clash on Wednesday in the Capital One Cup.
