At the beginning of this current Premier League season, Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace were flying. However, they have now gone four games in all competitions without a win, and the question has been asked as to whether or not this former Spurs striker could help the Eagles regain momentum.
When it was going so well, the South London side were tipped for a European spot for next campaign, but that dominant form has seemed to come to an end. Sure, Pardew knows he’ll need to get it going again, but maybe Emmanuel Adebayor can help.
Former Newcastle United boss Pardew has plenty of talent to play around with in the Palace squad, but it seems as though the problem is currently sitting in the strikers department – following Glenn Murray’s departure.

Because of their lack of problems, whether that be because Dwight Gayle isn’t cutting it or the fact that Connor Wickham is out injured, the Eagles are found having to use one of their wingers – Yannick Bolasie or Bakary Sako – upfront.
Adding to that, Marouane Chamakh simply can’t shrug his injury off, and Chelsea loanee Patrick Bamford simply fails to impress when given the chance, as small as that may be.

With the Europa League still in Palace’s plans, a striker should be brought in when the January transfer window arrives, and Adebayor could be on their radar.
The Tongo striker won’t cost a penny in transfer fees, but the club would have to deal with his wage demands. He is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League.
Pardew would have no bother dealing with Adebayor’s ‘trouble’.
