Both Crystal Palace and West Brom have been linked with respective swap deals for Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend, with the England international’s future at White Hart Lane looking bleak.
Following a public bust-up, the midfielder was left out of Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs squad for last night’s 2-1 victory over RSC Anderlecht in the Europa League.
Townsend’s argument on the pitch with a Spurs coach was picked up on by The Express, and the 24-year-old is also poised to be excluded by his Argentine manager for their next game – Arsenal away.

HITC have reported that both Crystal Palace and West Brom will have Townsend offered to them in January. If Alan Pardew’s side is chosen, the North London club are looking for it to be a swap + cash deal, with Yannick Bolasie – a target for Spurs in the summer – included.
If West Brom are chosen, another summer target of Spurs, Saido Berahino, will be wanted in the swap.
With a win over the Gunners on Sunday, Spurs could move within two points of their opposition in the Premier League table.
