Crystal Palace have been scouting Sheffield Wednesday striker Lucas Joao, according to reports.
Joao, who was recently awarded his first two international caps by Portugal, has put in some impressive displays for Wednesday and is attracting attention from sides in the Premier League, one of whom seems to be the Eagles.
He’s scored seven goals in 20 appearances for Carlos Carvalhal’s side, and is a major reason why Wednesday look to be battling for a playoff spot this season.
Despite sitting in seventh position in the Premier League table, Palace will be looking at striker options as their front-men have all struggled to get on the scoresheet.
Dwight Gayle is once again being linked with moves away from Selhurst Park while Patrick Bamford could, and probably will, see his loan move from Chelsea ended prematurely as he has struggled to get the game time that both he and his parent club would like him to get under his belt.
