Crystal Palace are interested in signing Juventus’ Italian forward Simone Zaza, according to reports.
Zaza is currently fourth choice striker in Turin behind Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata. This has led to opportunities being limited and a move to the Premier League makes sense for the 24-year-old who will be keen to be part of the Italian squad for Euro 2016.
He has made just seven appearances in Serie A this season, and only three of those have been as a starter. He’s managed to find the back of the net twice in those seven games.

Palace’s striking issues have been well documented with none of their main strikers finding the back of the net in the Premier League this season, so it makes sense that they’d be linked with a striker.
The Italian international has seven caps for his country but is yet to establish himself in their squad.
According to reports, the Turin club are looking to loan the striker out rather than sell him.
