Team News vs. Bournemouth: Adebayor benched, Cabaye out

Alan Pardew has opted to select newly-signed Emmanuel Adebayor amongst the substitutes against Bournemouth tonight, for the first time since his arrival.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker wasn’t in the squad to face Stoke City in the FA Cup Fourth Round victory, but the Togo international could grab some minutes against Eddie Howe’s side. Instead, Pardew opts to use Frazier Campbell up front.

In other news, Yohan Cabaye isn’t fit enough to feature following the heavy tackle he picked up in the last outing. Damien Delaney and Scott Dann continue their partnership at the back, with Wayne Hennessey in-between the posts.

For the opposition, former Eagle Glenn Murray has been named as a substitute by his manager, Howe.

Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Jedinak (c), McArthur; Puncheon, Lee, Zaha; Campbell.

Subs: Speroni, Hangeland, Kelly, Boateng, Mutch, Chamakh, Adebayor

AFC Bournemouth XI: Boruc; Smith, Francis, Cook, Daniels; Ritchie, Gosling, Surman, Arter; Pugh, Afobe.

Subs: Federici, Distin, O’Kane, Iturbe, King, Murray, Grabban.
