Crystal Palace are still leading the chase to sign Diafra Sakho according to sources. With Stoke City having offered £20m for the signature of Eagles target Saido Berahino, West Ham look in pole position to sign Carlos Bacca if he decides to leave AC Milan.

Both transfer targets are looking to move elsewhere and that could leave Palace set on bringing The Hammer’s striker Diafra Sakho to the club. The Croydon Advertiser has reported that the Senegal Striker is likely to choose Selhurst Park as his next destination.

The forward has scored 19 goals in two seasons at the club and faces competition for places in the side from Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia. The arrival of Bacca to the club would all but push his place out of the first team.

Alan Pardew and the club will be looking to sign a striker as soon as possible after failing to land deals for Michy Batshuayi and Christian Benteke.
